We didn’t forget about you! We just decided that 2021 was hard enough and we wanted to make sure we saw all of the movies we wanted to see and actually enjoy ourselves for our biggest show of the year. Yes, our Top 10 Horror Movies of 2021 episode is still coming and we want you to participate! To enter your picks and be part of the show, simply follow the link or fill out the form below by February 16th! Our Top 10 show will drop before the end of February 2021.
OFFICIAL RULES
Make sure you spell and capitalize the title of your picks correctly to ensure that they’ll be counted by our automated form. Use IMDb.com as a reference when deciding how to spell the title of your entry, so that we’re all on the same page.*
For example, IMDb lists 2019’s film with Pennywise the Dancing Clown as It Chapter Two, not It: Chapter Two or It: Chapter 2 or IT Chapter Two or IT Chapter 2. or It—Chapter 2 … and we had each of those iterations submitted to us.
*Do NOT include the year of release in your entry. We’ll assume that all of the films are from 2021. IMDb may have some of the films listed as 2020 (or even 2019) because they go by first release, even if it is a film festival. You can use any criteria you like, but we go by the year of first theatrical or online U.S. release (film festivals excluded).
Didn’t see 10 great horror films this year? No problem! You only need to have your Top 3 films, in order to participate. That’s the requirement.
One entry per person. Please confirm with a valid email address and screen name.
No going back to change your answers once you’ve submitted, so make sure that you’re happy with your list before submitting.
We are only taking comments for your #1 favorite film, this year. You may email us a mini-review for your #1 film of the year to horrormoviecast@gmail.com (that’s cast not podcast) for a chance to win an awesome prize AND have your review read on the show.
For those who are new to our podcast, each of our hosts compiles a Top 10 Horror Movies of the Year and we ask our listeners to join the fun by submitting their lists, as well. Then, we gather all the listener submissions and compile their data to create one collective Top 10 Horror list from our listenership! It’s a blast! We have been including the listener lists with our Top 10 for seven years now: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. Take a listen, if you want to see how it goes.
Please note: You must follow the instructions, or your list WILL NOT be added to the collective list, and you will NOT be eligible to win any prizes. Sorry, that’s just how it goes.
Any questions? Leave them in the comments below before entering and we’ll answer them as quickly as we can.
